The New Nokia X2 Has Arrived, Specs, Price, Availability

It's been only a few months after Nokia announced its first three budget android handsets, Nokia X, X+ and XL, but on this day a new member of the family came -- the Nokia X2.

Nokia X2, Android, Snapdragon 200, Colors

On first glance, the Nokia X2 looks almost the same as the Nokia X with its catchy colors, solid build and tiled theme. But updates came in both hardware and software aspect. The most distinct is its display now at 4.3 inches but with the same resolution of 800x480 pixels. The processor is beefed up with a dual-core Snapdragon 200 clocked at 1.2GHz along with a bumped 1GB RAM. For internal storage, there is the 4GB plus a microSD card slot for memory expansion.

The back camera is now at 5MP AF with LED flash and coupled with a VGA front-facing camera. The battery is also upgraded at 1800mAh with maximum standby time of 23 days (dual sim) and 86 hours of music.

For its externals, the addition of the capacitive home key button is visible for easier navigation and multi-tasking. The outer layer is also translucent for additional shine and pop. Its Fastlane is also updated with more features and customizations. Although there's still no Play Store, many useful apps came pre-installed.

The Nokia X2 is priced at 99 Euros before taxes and subsidies (~P5,900 direct conversion), now available globally in selected countries. No words yet when this will be available the Philippines.
