Best Bulalo at Mahogany Market

Tagaytay's Bulalo

Rainy days are just around the corner but that can't hinder our itch to go places and unwind. In line with the shift in season, we can feel our cravings adjust also. From the famous Filipino food halo-halo, we'll start looking for hot treats - mami, lomi, arroz caldo, etc. But today's highlight is a proud feat of Tagaytay, a hot Bulalo.

Tagaytay's Best Bulalo

Tagaytay is a favorite place of escape for its views and food offerings. Many are regularly visiting this place to unwind and relieve themselves from the stress of city living, or just eat. There are fancy restaurant around the area that claims their Bulalo's being the best in town, but for many who tried, Mahogany Market is the place to be.

If you have a smartphone with GPS then it's easy to find. There are also jeepneys that pass by this avenue. There are traffic build up specially during lunch time. And when you come for the first time, it looks like there's no eatery around upon turning right from the avenue. You can park right away on the parking you'll see at front but it is more advisable to search around not far from your sight. There are reported cases of scratching paints here.

Again, this is a market so you can expect too much from the place itself. No A/C, and fancy utensils here, just great food. Upon looking for available seats, we decided to eat at Betty's Eatery. For only P350 pesos, 3-4 persons can enjoy their famouse Bulalo with free Senorita banana's. There are also tawilis and pusits. Definitely soft and tasty beef are catered here, we forgot our diets and just enjoyed the food. Really worth it and looking forward to come back again in my tagaytay visits.
