But Samsung has announced extending its health and fitness technologies to your wrist. The Samsung Simband is a wearable device which can aid in tracking and monitoring your daily health readings and upload it to a cloud-based health data platform.

The Simband is still in a prototype stage and serves as a reference for future devices. Wearing this could track vital signs such as heart rate, blood pressure, glucose, oxygen levels and more. This is also foreseen to work together with other body wearables in gathering information and upload data to the cloud securely.
