Change Your Sun Pocket WiFi Password With These Easy Steps

Got your new pocket wifi? Here's how to change your password and WiFi SSID (name of your WiFi connection) in few easy steps:

1. Power up your pocket wifi. My WiFi model under Sun Cellular's Easy Broadband Plan 699 is a ZTE MF65. 
2. You will see an Open SSID with 'SunWiFi' included on its name. Connect to it.
3. Type in the web GUI address: 192.168.0.1
4. Enter admin as password.
5. Click Settings Tab>Wi-Fi Settings>Basic Settings.

7. Choose your own SSID or network name. In the Exampe above, 'My Own WiFi' was used.

       8. Select you Security Mode. Here, I choose WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK. It's better than WPA or WEP, according to some sources. Remember these because some smartphone ask what security mode is used together of course with the password.

      9. Under the Pass Phrase, choose the password you want. 

      10. Click Apply.

That's it. Do not forget to put password on your pocket wifi 'cause OPEN security mode is very vulnerable to privacy invasion, and of course, slow internet speed. If other questions should arise, feel free to comment.
