MediaTek is already a familiar word to many of us as it is commonly seen on the spec sheets of local smartphone brands like Starmobile, Cherry Mobile, MyPhone, Cloudfone, etc. It is adapted often in low to mid-range price group smartphones for its high affordability and acceptable performance. With its continuing research and development, they manage to engineer and build new chipsets that can battle other popular and more expensive SOC’s.
