Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 and Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 Announced, Both packing AMOLED

While the Galaxy Tab Pro brand has just reached the hands of some, Samsung announced another tablet line that can battle other high-ends in the scene. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S, the new kid in town, would be a head turner for the many for its Super AMOLED (2560x1600) display promising much improved visual experience.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S is also currently the thinnest and lightest tablet in their line up in its sleek 6.6mm profile and at 294g (8.4-inch) and 465g (10.5-inch). Both have a powerful Exynos 5 Octa (1.9GHz quadcore + 1.3GHz quadcore) or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 2.3GHz quadcore.

The rear cam is at 5MP and 2.1MP FHD front camera. It has a 3GB RAM and 16 or 32GB internal phone storage expandable via microSD card. The Super AMOLED screen is known for its power efficiency and when coupled with an ample battery, 4,900mAh (8.4-inch) and 7,900mAh (10.5-inch) would make you enjoy its beastly specs.

The 8.4-inch would sell at $400 (~P17,500 direct conversion) in the US, 10.5-inch at $500 (~P22,000 direct conversion) this July. The LTE variants would come later this year.
