Xiaomi Sold out 50,000 Mi Pad Units In 3 Minutes and 59 Seconds on its First Sale

Xiaomi has launched the Mi Pad in mid-May this year and many were amazed of the specifications of this tablet. Today, they commenced its sale in China with 50,000 units of 16GB white-colored variant. Amazingly, all those 50,000 were sold in just 3 minutes and 59 seconds!

It's really hard to resist for this tablet is equipped with a Tegra K1 mobile processor from NVIDIA. Specifically, it is powered by a 4-Plus-1 Quad-Core ARM Cortex-A15 clocked at 2.2GHz plus a 192-core super chip featuring the NVIDIA Kepler architecture. It can be seen around the web that this combo exceeds the performance of Apple's A7 chip and the new Snapdragon 805.

Other key points worth mentioning are its 2048x1536 resolution display at 326 ppi that can contend with the iPads out there, the 6700mAh battery and the Sony-made cameras. The phone is sold at 1499 Yuan or around P10,500 if directly converted.
