Cherry Mobile Launched Flare 3: A 5" Quad-core at P3,999

Cherry Mobile has been teasing their Facebook followers these past few days about an incoming announcement with the hash-tag #TheBigReveal. On this day, they finally revealed the big one and it turned out to be the Cherry Mobile Flare 3.

Dubbed as "Phablet ng Bayan," Flare 3 falls on the minimum size to be considered a Phablet at 5-inch qHD (540x960 pixels) IPS One Glass Solution Display. It runs on a 1.3GHz Quad-core processor with 1GB of Ram. With these specs, it can perform well as daily driver but don't let your hopes high if you're planning to play power-hungry HD games.

Maribelle Julieth's Cafe - Cool Ambiance, Great Food

Recommending a restaurant or cafe is not easy to do as people naturally has subjective taste and appetite. But here's a place, ‎Maribelle Julieth's Cafe, I would eagerly suggest for travelers at the vicinity of Batangas City.

I was looking for a restaurant or cafe where me and my girlfriend can have a dinner date to celebrate our monthsary. Fortunately, she found a nearby coffee shop and cafe before I opt out on going to Lipa. Maribelle Julieth's Cafe is located at Libjo, Batangas City. There's a map on their facebook page for ease of navigation. It's near Libjo Elementary School, a right turn before reaching the former. The Cafe is within Maribelle's Garden, a famous reception for weddings and other occasions. 

The ambiance is welcoming and pleasing with the eyes. The interior is filled with pastel colored interiors -- fancy chairs, tables and decors. Sitting on the sofas made me feel instantly relaxed and comfy. For their menu, below is an example from their facebook page.

The Salads were not available during that time so we picked Nachos Beef Bel Grande instead for P150. It was served while we were still waiting for our other orders. The Tacos was crunchy and the beef toppings were great.

We also tried their frappes, Chocolate and Mocha flavors, as our drinks. It was chilly and just right for our palates.

We also ordered Lasagna (P150) and German Roast Chicken (P175) as our main course...tasteful.

We also tried some of their cakes. We didn't found it on the Menu but we saw the displays on the cashier and chose Yema Cake for me and Blueberry Velvet Cake for her. I can't remember the price well but it's around P75 a slice/piece. I liked the Yema cake -- not to sweet but yummy.

Overall, we had fun and were satisfied with the foods. The aura was soothing and relieving. Two thumbs up for Maribelle Julieth's Cafe. Highly recommended.

Ragnarok 2 has finally opens its door, to the gamers from the Philippines, bringing nostalgia once more for Ragnarok Online fans out there. The long wait is now over for the Filipino players to enter the kingdom of Ragnarok once again, officially. I said officially because many have already sneaked-in to this game with the help of VPN, WTFast, etc, just to join the fun and break the curiosity on what Ragnarok 2 can bring.

I also glanced before and even reached Level 50, the maximum level at that time. I met other Filipino players online, but since logging in was not easy, only a few have stayed. Xiaomi Mi 4 To Be Released on July 22?

Xiaomi has posted an intriguing image today on their social media accounts. The picture, as seen below, boasts a big number "4" with a brushed metal background. Written below it are texts that tell: July 22nd, Xiaomi's annual product launch event. We will tell the story about "The journey of a piece of steel metal".

Rumors were floating around a long time now about the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 4 with 4G connectivity and metallic body. With this official image, many believed that this really might be the Mi 4, skipping the formerly rumored Mi3S.  In relation to this, Xiaomi Philippines has made the Mi 3 Sale Open at Lazada. Is this a preparation of the upcoming event?

Will we see a snapdragon 805? 3 GB RAM? Well, the date is just below 12 days now until we can confirm those rumors. For now, the Mi 3 is here sitting in a sweet spot with its premium specs.

Announced last summer, Cherry Mobile Equinox is now available on their outlets and kiosks. This phone packs a Full HD screen (1920x1080), which is rarely seen on local brands. Sony Released "The Word's Best Selfie Phone" -- Sony Xperia C3

The Sony Xperia C3, claimed as the world's best selfie phone, was made official today. The selfie hype isn't dying and this smartphone is an evidence of manufacturers to go with the flow and showcase their innovation as well.

We know that Sony sensors are class-leading in terms of mobile photography, but what makes this phone extra special? As seen in the image above, the front-facing camera is not what we see everyday. It is bigger and comes with a LED flash. Sony says it produces perfect selfies anytime with its 5MP wide-angle camera (25mm) that also makes capturing landscapes and group pics easy. Its softwares are also optimized with its Superior Auto mode, HDR, Portrait Retouch, etc. The main camera is at 8MP and also performs well in low-light.

The device is also packed with 5.5" HD IPS display, 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 CPU, 8GB internal phone storage expandable with a microSD up to 32GB, 1GB RAM, 2500mAh battery, and also LTE connectivity.

The phone has a slim profile at 7.6mm and a lightweight body at 150g. However, I don't think it will help on holding the phone for selfie shots. It will launch on China first this August and then globally. The color options will be black, white and mint. No news yet about its pricing and availability in the Philippines.

Fix Xiaomi Mi 3: Notifications Not Showing Sometimes

The Mi 3 has landed in the Philippines and more than 3000 people have already experienced this flagship device in an affordable package. The User Interface installed out-of-the-box is Xiaomi's MIUI. I experienced, although not applicable to all, is that notifications do not appear sometimes. I noticed it particularly when using Facebook messenger. Note that Facebook messenger uses Push Notifications, which means basically, you can receive notifications even when the main application isn't running. It applies to common messaging apps such as gmail, hangouts, viber, etc. In order to fix this, I did this steps:
