I've been listening to music using my smartphone since they existed even with the dawn of dedicated music players like iPod. Likewise, I've been struggling on keeping myself updated with the hottest and newest songs available. And Mp3 take up too much space on my internal phone storage. Because of the aforementioned reasons, I decided to venture on using a music streaming app called Deezer.
Charts are only available on Premium subscribers.

In our country, Deezer has partnered with Smart Communications to deliver a new music streaming service to Filipino mobile subscribers. Currently, only Postpaid subscribers can enjoy this service but Smart will soon announce subscription plans also to Prepaid subscribers as well.
“We are excited to announce this pioneering partnership with Deezer, which will deliver even more exciting music experiences to our subscribers and enhance their mobile lifestyles on the go,” Mellissa Limcaoco said, Smart Innovation and Product Development Group Head.
Initial plan offerings with Deezer Premium+ bundle has P175 rebate for the first 6 months. Including are the Unlisurf LTE Plans starting from Plan 1175 (Unlisurf LTE, 174 All-net texts, 9 min all-net calls, 20 mins tri-net calls). Higher plans would add all-net calls and texts.

Deezer has been launched almost a month ago. I decided to give it a try and see if music streaming can now be fruitfully enjoyed because of further network improvements in the country. There is a 15-day free trial of their Premium+ features which you better try too.

The LTE Plan option is great but my area is still deprived of the LTE signal. Until that time comes, I hope that Smart will announce the prepaid bundled promo soon.
