Xiaomi has took the smartphone market by storm in our country and also abroad and the acceptance increased gradually and certainly even with the absence of big advertisements. Recently, the company has announced a new product which baffled the many - a high-tech air purifier.
Smart products pop-up here and there bearing those large brands in the form of washing machines, TV's, refrigerators and other consumer electronics. And it looks like Xiaomi is expanding its product portfolio with the announcement of their air purifier as competitors struggle with their booming smartphone department. How does 10,000 Liters of clean air per minute sounds to you? Well, for people living in the city and in areas near industrial parks, that's good.
The Mi Smart Air Purifier specs include dual fan, four air ducts, 10,000L of clean air per minute (406 m3/h), three layers of filter that removes 99.99% PM2.5 particles, real-time monitoring also available via your smartphone and a compact size with an area equivalent to an A4 paper. A great benefit I can see is its capability to filter PM2.5 particles. PM2.5, what? They are particulates which are smaller than 2.5 micrometers and can harm our bodies specially the cardiovascular system.
